PuraOre! Pride of Orange (2021)

The girls’ ice hockey team Dream Monkeys from Nikko in Tochigi Prefecture is always on the lookout for new talent. That’s why they regularly invite schoolgirls from the surrounding area to try out. Actually, Manaka Mizusawa is not interested in playing ice hockey at all, but she is persuaded by her younger sister Ayaka to take part in such a training session – together with her sandbox friends Kaoruko Yanagida and Mami Ono. All three are surprised at how much they enjoy the sport and coach Youko notices that the girls have great talent. They quickly join the team and have to prove at a training camp and the tournament that follows that they have what it takes to become the best ice hockey players in the world!

Das Mädchen-Eishockeyteam Dream Monkeys aus Nikkou in der Tochigi-Präfektur ist stets auf der Suche nach neuen Talenten. Deswegen laden sie regelmäßig Schülerinnen aus der Umgebung zu einem Probetraining ein. Eigentlich interessiert sich Manaka Mizusawa überhaupt nicht fürs Eishockeyspielen, doch sie lässt sich von ihrer jüngeren Schwester Ayaka überreden, an einem solchen Training teilzunehmen – gemeinsam mit ihren Sandkastenfreundinnen Kaoruko Yanagida und Mami Ono. Alle drei sind überrascht, wie viel Spaß sie an dem Sport haben und der Trainerin Youko fällt auf, dass die Mädchen großes Talent besitzen. Schnell werden sie in das Team aufgenommen und müssen in einem Trainingscamp und beim darauf folgenden Turnier beweisen, dass sie das Zeug dazu haben, zu den besten Eishockeyspielerinnen der Welt zu werden!
