»Pikachuu no Natsu Matsuri« ist der erste von insgesamt acht Kurzfilmen, die von 2004 bis 2011 für das Bordprogramm der All Nippon Airways produziert wurden.

Pikachu, Mauzi, ihre Freunde und viele andere Pokémon bereiten ein Sommerfest am Strand vor. Plötzlich wird jedoch die Gesangsattraktion des Festes, Azumarill, von einem Panzaeron entführt.
Gemeinsam starten die Pokémon eine Rettungsaktion.
