Tanpen Unico: Kuroi Kumo to Shiroi Hane (1979)

The Goddess Venus is jealous of the beautiful human girl Psyche and blames her pet unicorn, Unico, as Psyche’s source of good luck. Venus has Unico banished, and it becomes the West Wind’s duty to take Unico from one place and time to the next. Taken to a heavily polluted city, Unico meets a sickly girl named Chiko who is suffering because of the pollution of a nearby factory that darkens the entire sky. Unico then is determined to cheer her up, cure her, and destroy the nearby factory.

Die Göttin Venus ist auf die wunderschöne menschliche Seele junger Mädchen eifersüchtig und lastet dies ihrem Haustier, einem Einhorn namens Unico, an, welches eine Quelle des Glücks für jede Seele ist. Unico hat die erstaunliche Fähigkeit, jeden glücklich zu machen, der ihm begegnet. Ob diese Kräfte aus seinem Horn entspringen oder mit seiner Persönlichkeit zu tun haben, weiß niemand. Venus hat Unico verbannt und so trägt ihn der Westwind von einem Ort zum nächsten, bis er letztendlich in einer stark verschmutzten Stadt landet. Dort trifft Unico ein krankes Mädchen namens Chiko, das unter einer naheliegenden Fabrik, die den gesamten Himmel mit Rauch verdunkelt, zu leiden hat. Unico ist daraufhin sofort entschlossen, sie zu heilen und die Fabrik zu zerstören.

La diosa Venus está celosa de la hermosa alma humana de las jóvenes y culpa de ello a su mascota, un unicornio llamado Unico, que es una fuente de felicidad para todas las almas. Unico tiene la habilidad de hacer feliz a todo que se encuentra con él. Nadie sabe si estos poderes surgen de su cuerno o tienen que ver con su personalidad. Venus ha desterrado a Unico y asi le lleva el viento de un sitio al otro, hasta que llega en una ciudad muy contaminada. Ahí encuentra a una niña enferma llamada Chiko, que sufre a causa de una fábrica cercana que oscurece todo el cielo con humo. Unico se decide inmediatamente a curarla y a destrozar la fábrica.
