Description

The film provides an introduction to the OVA series “Legend of the Galactic Heroes” and describes the first encounter between the ambitious young Reinhard von Müsel, who flies the flag of the galactic empire, and Yang Wenli, who serves a corrupt democracy under the Alliance banner. When Reinhard arrives at the Iserlohn Fortress with his expeditionary fleet, he is called upon to intercept a powerful Alliance fleet in a neighbouring star system, which will lead to a momentous encounter.
Der Film bietet eine Einführung in die OVA-Serie »Legend of the Galactic Heroes« und beschreibt die erste Begegnung zwischen dem ehrgeizigen jungen Reinhard von Müsel, der unter der Flagge des galaktischen Imperiums steht, und Yang Wenli, der unter dem Banner der Allianz einer korrupten Demokratie dient. Als Reinhard mit seiner Expeditionsflotte bei der Festung Iserlohn eintrifft, wird er aufgefordert, in einem benachbarten Sternensystem eine mächtige Allianzflotte abzufangen, was zu einem folgenschweren Zusammentreffen führen wird.
