Super Grand Prix (1977)

Todoroki Takaya takes part in a small race with a car he built himself. His big goal is to move up to F1. As he is about to win the race, he catches fire due to a mechanical defect and is eliminated. However, Nick Lambda, a retired top driver, recognises his talent and recommends him to Katori Motors. Soon Takaya starts travelling around the world and competing in races. So begins his new mission to win the championship with his own car, the Todoroki Special, and get one step closer to his dream.

Todoroki Takaya nimmt an einem kleinen Rennen teil, mit einem Auto, das er selbst gebaut hat. Sein großes Ziel ist es, in die F1 aufzusteigen. Als er dabei ist, das Rennen zu gewinnen, fängt er wegen eines mechanischen Defekts Feuer und scheidet aus. Allerdings erkennt Nick Lambda, ein pensionierter Topfahrer, sein Talent und empfiehlt ihn an Katori Motors. Schon bald beginnt Takaya um die ganze Welt zu reisen und an Rennen teilzunehmen. So beginnt seine neue Aufgabe, die Meisterschaft mit seinem eigenen Auto, dem Todoroki Special, zu gewinnen und seinem Traum einen Schritt näherzukommen.
