Haru Yamaguchi ist eine der Insassen bei der Jungfernfahrt der neuen Zugstrecke und wird wie die restlichen sechs Mitglieder in den Alptraum des Mononoke Bakeneko gezogen. Vor etwa fünf Jahre starb Harus Ehemann an einer Lungenkrankheit, seitdem lebt sie vom dem Erbe und verdient sich anscheinend noch etwas durch den Verkauf ihres Körpers hinzu. Sie ist eine ziemlich strikte, uneinsichtige Person, die wenig Verständnis für Menschen in ihrem Umfeld hat.
