Yuji ist der jüngere Bruder von Reiko und geht zur Highschool. Er besucht die 10. Klasse und spielt im Basketball-Team mit, trotz seiner kleinen Körpergröße. Bei jedem Spiel hat er Aois Sneakers an, die ihm als Glücksbringer dienen sollen. Außerdem sind sie etwas Besonderes für ihn. Die Sneakers hat er wiederum von seiner Schwester bekommen. Er weiß, dass die Sneakers aus ihm keinen besseren Spieler machen, denn dafür muss er noch sehr hart trainieren um seinem Idol Aoi gerecht zu werden.
