Seit geraumer Zeit wird sein Dorf von Banditen heimgesucht, einer ehemaligen Panzereinheit, die unter Führung von Leutnant Wolmarf steht und beim in der Nähe liegenden Damm ihren Stützpunkt errichtet haben. Sowieso schon gebeutelt von dem drei Jahre zurückliegenden Krieg, wird das Dorf nun regelmäßig von ihnen überfallen und ausgeplündert, weshalb sich die Gesamtlage des Dorfes und seiner Bewohnern in der Zwischenzeit kaum verändert hat und gar im Gegenteil mangelt es teilweise an der Grundversorgung wie Nahrung und medizinischer Versorgung im Dorf, die zu Lasten ihrer Gesundheit gehen. Sich gegen die Halunken aufzulehnen, kommt für den Bürgermeister allerdings nicht in Frage, was sollen sie auch schon gegen einen Panzer ausrichten können.
