Der Manager des Shirakaba Inn kümmert sich zusammen mit Aya um das Geschäftliche im Gasthaus und in erster Linie um das Personal. Er weiß natürlich auch, dass es nicht allzu gut um das Gasthaus steht - trotz ihrer Onsen-Quelle läuft das Geschäft schlecht - was wohl vor allem an dem Alter des Hauses liegt. Die Gäste des Gasthauses holt er vermutlich deshalb persönlich ab, um wenigstens ein wenig Dienstleistung zu bieten und einiges an Kosten zu sparen, indem auf weiteres Personal verzichtet wird.
