Toga Yagari ist ein Vampirjäger und benutzt ein Gewehr mit spezieller Munition um Vampire zur Strecke zu bringen.
Er wird von Kaien Cross gebeten als Lehrer für die Night Class an der Cross Academy zu arbeiten, was natürlich zu Konflikten zwischen ihm, dem Vampirjäger, und den Vampiren der Night Class führt.
Er war auch in Sachen Vampirjagd der Lehrmeister von Zero Kiryu und passt an der Academy darauf auf, dass Zero keinen Menschen tötet.
