Masashi Yamada ist ein Grundschullehrer, der die erste Grundschulklasse in Nerima unterrichtete. Er verstarb durch einen Unfall mit dem Motorroller und landete somit in dem »Raum«. Um wieder sein gewohntes Leben führen zu können, jagt er das Alienkind, das er töten soll und schießt dabei gnadenlos auf ihn ein. Er hält die ganze Situation für eine Art Film, in den er nur zufällig geraten ist.
