Minamoto ist eine gute Bekannte von Yoshitani, die im Anime aber nur jeweils am Ende der Episoden einen Auftritt hat. Hier fällt sie vornehmlich damit auf, dass sie die Ansprache zum Preview auf die nächste Folge Yoshitani streitig macht und letztendlich komplett am Thema vorbeigeht und vielmehr Bezug auf Yoshitani und seine Anwandlungen nimmt, wie etwa sein Dasein als Otaku. Respekt scheint sie keinen vor ihm zu haben und knallt ihm ziemlich offen und unverblümt die Tatsache, dass er ein Otaku ist, vor dem Kopf. Eine zusätzliche Rolle bekommt sie im Opening des Animes, wo sie von Yoshitanis Chef entführt wird und Yoshitani ihm dann in einen Kampf zwischen zwei Super-Robotern gegenüber tritt, für Minamoto nimmt das Ganze allerdings ein weniger rühmliches Ende und letztlich so auch für Yoshitani
