Bei seiner Vorstellung vor dem Kollegium äußert Schulleiter Noda noch positive Erwartungen über den neuen Lehrer Satoshi Yabe. Bald schon kommen aber auch ihm die aus zahlreichen Missverständnissen entstandenen Gerüchte zu Ohren, dass es in seiner Klasse nicht astrein abläuft. Dabei kann man Noda selbst auch nicht unbedingt pädagogische Eignung bescheinigen, da er z.B. Futabas unanständiges künstlerisches Schaffen nicht etwa maßregelt, sondern sogar noch ihre Begabung lobt.
