Die indischstämmige Dame ist die Tante von Rani Chawla, die das junge Mädchen nach dem Tod von Ranis Eltern bei der Raccoon City Katastrophe vor 7 Jahren bei sich aufnahm. Die freundliche ältere Frau erwartet gemeinsam mit ihrer Nichte die Ankunft von Claire Redfield, die wie sie bei der Organisation Terra Save arbeitet. Es wundert sie ein wenig, dass die sonst so aufgeweckte Claire nach dem Flug ein wenig verschlafen und geschafft aussieht. Sie entkommt dem Massaker am Flughafen, da sie ihr Auto holen wollte und in der Zeit Rani der Obhut von Claire übergeben hat.
