Takumis eigentlich so ruhiges und ereignisloses Leben nimmt ein abruptes Ende, als er eines Tages nach Hause kommt und ihm sein Vater ohne jegliche Vorwarnung offenlegt, dass er ab sofort zwei neue Schwestern hat, Saori und Yui. Zwar handelt es sich bei den beiden nicht wirklich um seine Geschwister und sie würden sich auch nie im Leben freiwillig von seiner Familie adoptieren lassen. Aber dennoch werden die zwei ab sofort bei ihm wohnen und bringen sein Leben damit gewaltig durcheinander, denn zumindest an Saori ist er vom ersten Augenblick an sehr interessiert. Mehr noch, als an Mizuki und Satsuki, seine beiden langjährigen Freundinnen, die auf einmal mehr wollen als nur Freundschaft, womit Takumi natürlich niemals gerechnet hätte. Dennoch kann man auch nicht behaupten, dass er sich dessen sonderlich erwehren würde, obwohl er ja eigentlich nur Augen für Saori hat und diese unbedingt davon überzeugen will, dass er eigentlich doch ein ganz netter Kerl ist.
