Akatsuki Tomoe ist Shichikas dritte Gegnerin im Palast des Owari Shogunats und tritt ihm mit Meisai Tsurugas Sentou Tsurugi (千刀「鎩」（セントウ・ツルギ）, eng. Blade the Thousand) entgegen. Die 1000 Tsurugi Schwerter hat sie im ganzen Raum in den Boden gestochen, sodass sie jederzeit ein Schwert zur Hand haben sollte, wenn sie eines benötigt. Sie behauptet, dass sie Meisais Sentouryuu-Stil nicht nur erlernt hat, sondern die Technik auch perfektionierte. Ob sie damit dem Kyotouryuu-Krieger Einhalt gebieten kann und seinen Feldzug gegen das Shogunat unterbricht, wird sie im Kampf beweisen müssen.
