Mikio ist der Ehemann von Misaki und liebevoller Vater von Tsubomi. Leider kann er nicht annähernd so viel Zeit mit seiner Familie verbringen wie er es gern hätte, da er von seiner Arbeit oft bis spät Abends in Beschlag genommen wird. Dennoch gibt es im Leben von Mikio natürlich nichts wichtigeres als seine Familie und er ist überglücklich, dass seine Frau erneut schwanger ist. Er unterstützt sie wo es nur geht und auch auf die Hilfe seiner Tochter kann er sich jederzeit verlassen.
