Megumi ist krank, so krank, dass sie schon seit Tagen nicht mehr zur Schule gehen kann, zumindest denken das ihre Mitschüler und Lehrer. Als dann aber Akira Igawa vor ihrer Tür steht und ihr einen Krankenbesuch abstattet, mitsamt all den Unterrichtsstoff den sie versäumt hat, kommt dieser nicht umhin zu bemerken, dass Megumi doch recht lebhaft aussieht. Denn eigentlich ist sie gar nicht krank, vielmehr hat sie sich nur derart in ihr Hobby, das zeichnen von Manga, vertieft, dass sie schlicht und einfach vergessen hat zur Schule zu gehen. Denn Megumi kann man mit Fug und Recht als Otaku bezeichnen, zum Glück ist Akira ebenfalls einer und die beiden kommen sich, dank der gemeinsamen Interessen, schnell näher. Dabei zeigt sich auch, dass die sonst so zurückhaltende Einzelgängerin Megumi auch sehr leidenschaftlich sein kann und fällt förmlich über den etwas überraschten Akira her. Natürlich nur mit dem Ziel ihre erotischen Manga noch realistischer zeichnen zu können und da bietet sich diese Gelegenheit geradezu an, um am lebenden Objekt zu studieren.
