Sie ist eine Arbeitskollegin von Meryl Stryfe und Milly Thompson. Wirklich beneiden tut sie ihre Arbeitskolleginnen im Moment aber nicht, diese dürfen nämlich Vash The Stampede verfolgen, um ihm am weiteren Verwüsten zu hindern. Da schon ganze Städte durch Vashs Hände zerstört wurden und die beiden somit immer in Lebensgefahr sind, findet Karin diese Mission auch so schlimm. Dass Vash eigentlich ein ganz lieber Mensch ist, kann sie ja nicht wissen, sie selbst ist ihm nie begegnet, daher schenkt sie den bestehenden Gerüchten, die besagen, dass Vash ein sehr gefährlicher Mann sei, auch Glauben.
