Der Kleinganove Roco Bonnaro stößt während eines Fluges auf Spike, als dieser einer Gruppe von Verbrechern seine Kampfkünste zeigt. Von diesen ist Roco so sehr angetan, dass er alles daran setzt, sein Schüler zu werden; was Spike permanent ablehnt. Er findet auch schon bald heraus, dass Roco einer Gang beigetreten ist und somit kriminelle Machenschaften tätigt, um seiner seit der Geburt blinden Schwester eine Operation ermöglichen zu können.
