Obwohl sie wohl schon seit längerem weiß, dass ihr kleiner Bruder Youhei gar nicht ihr richtiger Bruder ist, sondern nur ihr Cousin, hat das nie etwas an der Tatsache geändert, dass Fumika ihn über alles liebt und als Teil ihrer Familie betrachtet. Nachdem nun endlich auch Youhei von ihrer Mutter Kaho über die genauen Verwandtschaftsverhältnisse in der Familie Togano aufgeklärt wurde, ist es auch Fumika, die Youhei mit vollem Körpereinsatz dabei unterstützt diesen Schock zu verwinden und ihm aufzeigt, welche Vorteile in der neuen Situation stecken. Denn endlich werden die Gefühle der beiden nicht mehr von allgemeinen Moralvorstellungen ausgebremst und sie können sich nun voll und ganz zeigen, wie viel sie doch tatsächlich füreinander empfinden und das ist weitaus mehr als normale Geschwisterliebe. Dabei zeigt Fumika auch immer wieder welch kesse und forsche junge Frau doch in ihr steckt, die genau weiß was sie will und alles gibt um das auch zu erreichen. Da gibt sie sich natürlich auch nicht ohne weiteres Ikue geschlagen, die auf einmal ihren Youhei für sich beansprucht.
