Kapitän Dreiser erfüllt mit seinem U-Boot eine taktische Rolle bei Anavel Gatos Part in Operation Stardust - der erfahrene Seemann ahnt aber bereits, dass er nicht nur hinzugezogen wurde, um ein paar Raketen aufs Festland abzufeuern, sondern vielmehr Gatos Ausweichplan darstellt, wenn er beim Entkommen mit dem gekaperten Gundam auf Probleme stoßen sollte. Das U-Boot wäre nämlich genauso in der Lage, den Gundam zu transportieren.
