Konpeis Mutter ist freiberufliche Schriftstellerin und ständig beschäftigt und unterwegs, sodass sie eigentlich kaum Zuhause ist. Im Gegensatz zu ihrem Ehemann ist sie eine überaus realistische und bodenständige Person. An Geistergeschichten glaubt sie nicht einmal ansatzweise und die Geschichten ihres Mannes, dass ein halbnackter Geist durch ihr Haus spukt, speist sie allerhöchstens mit einem Lächeln ab. Nichtsdestotrotz ist Konpeis Mutter sehr interessiert an der Geisterehefrau ihres Sohnes und fragt Konpei alle möglichen Sachen über Kirara aus. Übrigens ist Konpeis Mutter eine gute Freundin von Kiraras Mutter (der jungen Schülerin natürlich).
