Da er für die Yokohama Little Baseballmannschaft spielt, die als die beste Mannschaft in der Umgebung gilt, sind seine Fähigkeiten als Spieler überragend. Eben weil er so gut ist, mag er es nicht, wenn sich andere Spieler anmaßen sich auf die selbe Stufe zu stellen wie seine Mannschaft. Er ist ein sehr stolzer Spieler, der sich gekränkt fühlt, wenn man ihn und seine Mannschaft als schlecht abstempelt, was man seiner Meinung nach automatisch macht, wenn man Yokohama Little als schlecht darstellt.
