Als Pino in einer Art Müllhalde aufwacht und weder weiß wo sie ist, noch wie sie hierhin gekommen ist, trifft sie auf die beiden Autoreivs Al und Pull. Die beiden erfahren von ihr, dass sie auf der Suche nach Vincent und Re-l ist und entschließen sich ihr dabei zu helfen. Al erzählt ihr dabei von Will B. Good, dem Erbauer von ihrem aktuellen Aufenthaltsort Smile Land und dass er möglicherweise weiß, wo sich die beiden befinden. Auf dem Weg zu ihm erleben sie so manches Abenteuer: sie wären beinahe ertrunken, wurden später von der Polizei gejagt und entdecken dabei Pinos Lächeln, das vollkommen natürlich und ihnen in dieser Form noch nie begegnet ist.
