Anfangs sieht er auf die Ausländer, mit denen er gemeinsam ein Spiel bestreiten soll, herab, denn sein Vater war ein Rassist, der ihn in seiner Kindheit gelehrt hat, dass alle Ausländer schlechte Menschen seien. Deswegen weigert er sich auch mit den anderen zusammenzuspielen, worunter dann aber sein eigenes Spiel leidet, denn da er versucht einen Home Run zu machen, um so die Aufmerksamkeit der Trainer auf sich zu ziehen, misslingen ihm seine ganzen Spielzüge.
