Als vor langer Zeit die Prinzessin Sen Tokugawa an die Buou Academic School kam, wurde die ungefähr im selben Alter befindliche Hanzou Hattori vom Direktor der Akademie damit beauftragt sich stets an ihrer Seite zu befinden und sie vor allen Übel zu bewahren. Darüber hinaus hat er sie aber um noch einen Gefallen gebeten, da die Prinzessin in der Schule von den anderen eher gemieden wird, möchte er dass sie ihre Klassenkameradin und beste Freundin wird. Ein zwar schwieriges Anliegen, aber eines, wo er vollstes Vertrauen in Hanzou hat.
