Yuis beste Freundin versucht ihr gerne mal in Beziehungsangelegenheiten auf die Sprünge zu helfen, da Yui in dieser Hinsicht etwas langsam bzw. einfach zu lieb und nett ist, um selbst die Initiative zu ergreifen, wenn ein Junge ihr gefällt. Nao belässt es aber bei kleinen Schubsern als Verkuppelungsversuche und drängt sich ihr nicht auf, obwohl man sich das bei ihr wegen ihres spitzbübischen Temperaments durchaus vorstellen könnte. Selbst Nao, die Yui gut kennt, wird aus dieser manchmal nicht schlau - Yuis Spleen, immer wieder neue bizarre Sammelleidenschaften zu entwickeln, bereitet ihr daher bspw. regelmäßig neue Überraschungen. Die beiden musizieren übrigens gemeinsam im Blechbläser-Klub ihrer Schule.
