Von dem Biologen Whitman bzw seiner Meinung haben alle im Bienenstock eine sehr hohe Meinung. Zwar ist er nicht mehr wirklich tätig, aber das was er sagt ist immer noch von enormen Gewicht für die Höchsten der Hohen. Aus wissenschaftlicher Sicht sehen sie ihn mit Heiligenschein aber was seinen Charaktere angeht, sind sie sich sehr wohl bewusst, dass der alte Man auch sehr grimmig und teilweise eiskalt ist. Wenn dieses Bild auch nicht wirklich mehr auf ihn zutrifft und mit dem Alter auch ein wenig senil geworden ist.
