Anstatt Goblins, auf die die Dorfbewohner es eigentlich abgesehen hatten, laufen ihnen Baron und Capensis einfältigerweise in eine primitive Falle und weil dem Ältesten sofort Barons dämonischer Arm ins Auge fällt, lässt er beide zur Sicherheit des Dorfes ins Gefängnis stecken. Ein Dorf in der Nähe soll von einem Demon Knight zerstört worden sein, der die Kontrolle über sich verloren hat, so dass sein Misstrauen nachvollziehbar ist. Dass der energische Alte sehr auf das Wohl der Dörfler achtet, bekommt auch Capensis zu spüren, denn dass der einem hübschen Dorfmädchen nachstellt, unterbindet er kurzerhand mit Hilfe einiger kräftiger Einwohner. Baron jedoch erwirbt sein Vertrauen, als dieser bei einem Dämonenangriff ohne Zögern das Dorf beschützt.
