Als eine langjährige und enge Freundin von Rin ist Mayu nicht nur begeisterter Cosplayer sondern übernimmt im Circle auch die Aufgabe die Doujinshi zu zeichnen, welche dann zu hunderten von den zahlreichen Fans auf dem Comiket gekauft werden. Allerdings lastet daher auch ein enormer Druck auf Mayu und sie schlägt sich nicht selten die Nächte um die Ohren um die Termine einhalten zu können, weshalb sie ihrer Arbeit als Bedienung im Milyway nur noch bedingt nachkommen kann und das Café hauptsächlich dazu nutzt um ihren Schlafmangel entgegenzuwirken. Ist sie dann aber doch einmal wach, zeigt sich schnell, dass sie eine sehr lebensfrohe Frau ist und es wohl kaum einen Menschen gibt, der Rin besser versteht als sie.

Bei dem Cosplay, welches sie auf dem Comiket zur Schau stellt, handelt es sich übrigens um den Charakter Kokoro aus dem Anime Kokoro Toshokan.
