Um sich für seinen kommenden Rachefeldzug zu wappnen, muss der Afro Samurai sein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Schwert wieder in neuem Glanz erstrahlen lassen. Dafür wendet er sich an diesen erfahrenen Schwertschmied, der ihm sein Katana wieder in den alten, tödlichen Zustand versetzt. Er ist übrigens ein leidenschaftlicher Pfeifenraucher und interessiert sich nicht weiter für die Pläne des Afro Samurai.
