Dieser junge Mann mit dem Namen Platin ist ein Bekannter von Dora und zählt zweifelsohne zu den unzähligen einzigartigen Typen, die das Nachtleben von Yanagihara so einzigartig machen. So verbringt er die ganze Nacht damit jede Frau anzugraben, die er zu Gesicht bekommt und es ist ihm ganz offensichtlich egal, wie hoch seine Erfolgsquote dabei ist. Dass bei all der Hartnäckigkeit auch etwas herauskommt, lässt sich jedoch nicht abstreiten, schließlich behauptet er ganz stolz, dass er bisher schon über 70 Freundinnen hatte. Man kann also ebenfalls davon ausgehen, dass Beständigkeit nicht zu den Stärken von Platin zählt und die Beziehungen nicht sonderlich langlebig sind. Was aber weder ihn, noch seine jeweilige Freundin zu stören scheint.
