Renka ist die Tochter von Kensei Ma und ist in China zu Hause. Sie ist, wie ihr Vater, gut im Umgang mit chinesischer Kampfkunst, allerdings bei Weitem nicht in der Lage, ihm das Wasser zu reichen. Sie fliegt nach Japan um ihn wieder nach China zurückzubringen, jedoch weigert er sich strikt mit ihr zu gehen. Sie ist sehr impulsiv und mutig zugleich, jedoch unterschätzt sie mache Situationen leicht. Sie hält es für ein Sakrileg, chinesische Kampfkunst zusammen mit anderen Kampfkünsten zu trainieren (so wie es im Prinzip Kenichi tut).
