Sein Leben und auch dass er inzwischen ein so erfolgreicher Drehbuchautor werden konnte, verdankt er Kenzo Tenma, ohne dessen ärztliche Fähigkeiten er jetzt nicht mehr leben würde. Seinem Lebensretter traut er einfach nicht zu, dass er diese ganzen Morde begangen haben soll, sein Charakter widerspricht einfach dieser Annahme, weswegen er ihn mit allen ihm zur Verfügung stehenden Mitteln unterstützen möchte.
