Tsubaki ist Lehrer an der True Cross Academy und ist für den Sportunterricht zuständig, indem er unter anderem die Ausdauer der auszubildenden Exorzisten fördern soll. Außerdem begleitet er als Aufseher hin und wieder Gruppen von Schüler, wenn diese auf einer Mission unterwegs sind. Wirklich ernst nehmen tut er seinen Beruf jedoch nicht - wenn er einmal einen Anruf von seiner honey bzw. kitty, so die Kosenamen seiner Geliebten, bekommt, lässt er alles stehen und liegen und eilt zu ihr, sogar dann, wenn der Unterricht noch gar nicht beendet ist.
