Chiaki Takahashi ist Schülerin der Kaimei High und zugleich Kapitän des Mädchen-Softballklubs; weswegen sie von allen auch immer nur »Captain« genannt wird. Sie selber scheint lebhaft und auch zuvorkommend zu sein; zudem äußerst beliebt bei den anderen Schülern. Zu Himeko hat sie offenbar ein besonderes Band, da sie sich über ihre Anwesenheit immer freut und auch sonst viel mit ihr redet.
