Mikio ist Chitoses fester Freund - da er jedoch seit einem halben jahr in Tokyo studiert, führen sie seitdem eine Fernbeziehung, in der sie über Telefonate und SMS regelmäßigen Kontakt halten. Er freut sich daher sehr darauf, sie nun endlich wiederzusehen. Er hat sie als nettes, liebenswertes Mädchen in Erinnerung, doch was er jetzt unfreiwillig beobachten muss, lässt ihn daran zweifeln, ob sie immer noch dieselbe ist wie vor einem halben Jahr.
