Auf den ersten Blick wirkt Touko Kuchikis beste Freundin wie ein scheues Reh, dahinter verbirgt sich jedoch keine Schüchternheit, sondern tiefes Misstrauen gegenüber jedem außer ihrer Freundin. Die hingegen vergöttert sie geradezu und spricht von Schicksal, wenn es um ihre Begegnung geht und dass sie beide den gleichen Vornamen tragen. Wer sich Kuchiki allzu vertraut nähert, wird von ihr mit scharfen Worten bedacht, da sie auf einer Art exklusivem Besitzrecht für Touko Kuchiki pocht. Vor allem gegenüber Männern, im speziellen Reiji, verhält sie sich geradezu übergeschnappt und psychopathisch und versucht ihre Freundin von diesen Subjekten fern zu halten.
