Auch wenn ihn Tatsumi des Öfteren mit seiner Art des Trainierens verwirrt, da er teilweise einfach nicht versteht, was einzelne Übungen bringen sollen, unterstützt er ihn dennoch so gut es ihm möglich ist. Zwar hinterfragt er dabei oftmals die Übungen, fragt auch nach, was der Sinn einzelner Trainingseinlagen sein soll, aber er vertraut Tatsumi soweit, dass er nicht eingreift.
