Nozomu studiert an einer Universität Psychologie und ist äußerst begabt in diesem Bereich. Sein neuestes Projekt beschäftigt sich damit, Frauen Beratungsgespräche anzubieten und ihnen zu helfen, psychische Probleme loszuwerden, deren Ursprünge meist in der Pubertät liegen. Als Hilfsmittel soll dabei die Hypnose dienen, womit er für die jeweilige Person eine Illusion ihrer Vergangenheit, in der sie mit ihren Problemen das erste Mal zu kämpfen hatten, aufbauen und das Ereignis verändern möchte, sodass diese für die Person nicht in schlechter Erinnerung bleibt und somit ihre Probleme gelöst sein sollten. Jedoch erhält Nozomu für sein Projekt nur wenig Anerkennung und beschließt deshalb, das Projekt mit realen Frauen auszuprobieren, mit der Hoffnung, die Skeptiker zu überzeugen. Zu diesen »Testobjekten« gehören seine Mutter, Mirai, und ihre Freundinnen Izumi Soeda und Kyouka Shibazaki.
