Wie Fuuko arbeitet auch die stets überdrehte Kusumi als Prostituierte und hat vor allem Leute von der Basis als Freier. Allerdings zieht sie keine so feste Grenze zwischen diesen und sich. Vielmehr verhält sie sich gegenüber ihrem Stammfreier Tokino sogar wie eine richtige Freundin, obwohl ihr eigentlich klar sein müsste, dass es von Seiten Tokinos keine Liebe ist. Trotzdem glaubt sie fest daran, dass sie für ihn etwas Besonderes ist und wird daher bei einem Kampfeinsatz von Tokino sogar noch flatterhafter. Dieses geht sogar so weit, dass Kusumi mit dem Auto hinausfährt, um ihn zu beobachten und zuzuwinken.
