Tomoko ist eine von Kotoris besten Freundinnen und begleitet Kotoris Gesang am Piano. Wie auch Kanako alias Mikkun ist sie fest davon überzeugt, Asakura Jun’ichi und Kotori wären ein Paar. Sie ist ziemlich direkt und versucht häufiger, Kotori einen Schubs in die richtige Richtung zu geben. Anders als ihre Freundin Kotori ist sie keine besonders gute Schülerin, und im Gegensatz zur Kanako ist sie etwas impulsiver.

Tomokos Aussehen in Da Capo Second Season und Da Capo IF unterscheidet sich stark von dem im ursprünglichen Da Capo. Zudem ist ihr Gesicht dort beinahe nie zu sehen, und sie fällt hauptsächlich durch ihren ungewöhnlich hohen Wuchs auf.
