Lasa ist Mitglied von Barbarossas Wüsten-Piratenbande und beherrscht die Fähigkeit des Sandschlittenfahrens. Es stellt sich später heraus, dass sie eine alte Kindheitsfreundin von Vivi ist, allerdings hegt sie einen Groll gegenüber dem Königshaus, da König Kobra versprochen hat ihnen bei jeglichem Problem zu helfen, doch als sie seine Hilfe benötigten, kam er nicht.

Sie trägt einen Schirm auf ihrem Kopf, wie die ganze Piratenbande von Barbarossa, dieser hat die Form eines asiatischen Sonnenschirms und ist durch ihre Haare gestochen.
