Hinotos Mutter heiratet in eine neue Familie hinein und so bekommt er mit Kanue auch eine ältere Stiefschwester an seine Seite, welche ihn aber nicht als Bruder ansieht sondern als Liebesobjekt. Sie lässt kaum eine Gelegenheit aus, um bei ihm Hand, Fuß oder Mund anzulegen. Hinoto mag Kanue zwar auch, aber eher nur als normale Schwester, obwohl er sie nicht mit Onee-san anspricht, sondern mit ihrem Vornamen. Nur welcher junge Kerl wehrt sich schon dagegen, wenn er von einem hübschen Mädchen bearbeitet wird, vor allem wenn man ein eher ruhiger und schüchterner Junge ist wie Hinoto. Seine Liebe gilt aber einzig und allein Kimiha, einer Mitschülerin, mit der er die meiste Zeit in der Schule verbringt und welche auch Interesse an ihm zu haben scheint. Das entgeht auch seiner Schwester nicht, der die sich anbahnende Liaison natürlich gegen den Strich geht und deshalb alles versucht, um Hinoto an sich zu binden und die Freundschaft zwischen den beiden zu zerstören. An diesem Punkt geht es aber Hinoto dann doch zu weit.
