Die Mutter von Asa Shigure ist eine sehr warmherzige junge Frau, die andere stets mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht begrüßt. Sie trägt immer eine Haube mit Katzenohren und Schleifchen, egal ob zu Hause oder in der Stadt. Ein weiteres Merkmal ist ihre Angewohnheit, Namen stark abzukürzen: ihre Tochter ruft sie »A-chan« und spricht mit Rin Tsuchimi als »Ri-chan«. Sie ist eine regelrechte Zauberin in der Küche, ein Talent, das ihre Tochter offensichtlich geerbt hat.
