Tag um Tag verzehrt sich Nanami nach ihrer großen Liebe Akira, der zwar nur wenige Meter entfernt lebt, für sie aber dennoch unerreichbar scheint. Denn er hat nur Augen für Fußball und beachtet seine Nachbarin nicht im Geringsten, obgleich sie doch so einiges zu bieten hat. Weshalb sie mit der Zeit auch gelernt hat diesen Sport zu hassen und in ihrer Verzweiflung begann sich ausgiebig der Selbstbefriedigung zu widmen. Nichtsdestotrotz übernimmt sie, wenn auch nicht gänzlich freiwillig, den Posten der Managerin von Akiras Club und hat dabei auch einiges zu tun, den die letzte Managerin hat den Job schon vor langer Zeit hingeschmissen. Dank einer kleinen Unachtsamkeit ihrerseits werden dadurch aber auch endlich ihre Gefühle für Akira offengelegt und es kommt noch an Ort und Stelle zur langersehnten Vereinigung zwischen den beiden. Ganz zu ihrer, allen voran sexuellen, Frustration muss sie aber feststellen, dass sie trotz allem nicht Akiras ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit genießt. Die erhält sie dafür von Azuma, der Trainerin des Teams, welche nach langer Abwesenheit plötzlich wieder aufgetaucht ist.
