Keisuke ist Schüler der Ousaka Academy und sieht sich mit seinen Freunden vom Detektiv-Klub gerade eine ziemlich frivole Show des Okkultismus-Klubs an, als eine als Phantom verkleidete Zauberin die Bühne stürmt und das Medium Himiko entführt. Da Detektiv-Klub-Leiterin Aki sich eher als Beraterin sieht, überlässt sie den Löwenanteil der Arbeit Keisuke, der das zunächst als eine weitere Schikane seiner hitzköpfigen Chefin wahrnimmt. Als dann aber seine Freundin Jun ins Visier der mysteriösen Entführerin gerät, gibt er sein Bestes, und letztlich gelingt es ihm sogar, das Phantom zu entlarven und eine von langer Hand geplante Verschwörung aufzudecken.

Im Gegensatz zu Chris Kurisukawa, die als Phantom mit hypnotischen Kräften ihre Magie lediglich vorgaukelt, gebietet Keisuke tatsächlich über mysteriöse Kräfte, die er sich selbst nicht wirklich erklären kann.
