Ruby sammelt für ihre Anführerin Zircon die „Jewels“ ein, in denen die Persönlichkeit des menschlichen Besitzers kristallisiert sind, welche dazu dienen soll, um das Sonnenschiff zu reaktivieren, ein Raumschiff, dass sie zurück zum Gottesplaneten bringen soll, von dem sie alle verbannt wurden. Ihnen entgegen stellen sich drei Göttinnen, die zum Schutz der Menschen ausgesandt wurden und den Raub der Jewels verhindern sollen. Rubys Geliebte Lapis fiel einer solchen Wächterin, Natsumi, zum Opfer und so bittet sie Zircon darum, Rache für Lapis üben zu dürfen. Nicht umsonst ist sie die rechte Hand von Zircon, denn ihre Kampfstärke übertrifft die von Lapis beachtlich und dazu weiß sie noch äußerst listenreich vorzugehen, da sie es so einfädelt, dass Natsumi sich selbst ein Jewel einer bösen Göttin einsetzt, weil sie dachte, es sei ein zurück gewonnener Kristall eines Menschen. Die Göttinnen-Kristalle sind nämlich Gift für die Wächterinnen, jedoch stirbt Natsumi unerwartet nicht daran oder wird vom Bösen völlig vereinnahmt...
