Wie auch Chouhi ist Kan’u die kleine Schwester von Ryuubi. Wobei sie drei allerdings nicht wirklich Schwestern sind, was schon daran zu erkennen ist, dass weder in ihrer Persönlichkeit noch ihrem Aussehen die kleinste Gemeinsamkeit auszumachen ist. Nichtsdestotrotz verbindet sie ein überaus starkes Band, das selbst bei echten Schwestern nur in den seltensten Fällen zu finden sein dürfte. So würde Kan’u auch nie die Entscheidungen von Ryuubi anzweifeln und alles für diese tun, ohne zu zögern. Anmerken lässt sie sich das aber so gut wie nie, da sie über erstaunlich stoischen und rationalen Charakter verfügt und ihre Handlungen nur in Extremsituationen von ihren Emotionen bestimmen lassen würde. Abgesehen davon zeigt sie sich auch als sehr kämpferisch und selbst Schmerzen machen ihr kaum etwas aus. Dass mit ihr nicht zu spaßen ist, wird auch dadurch klar, dass Takaagi überhaupt erst der dritte Mensch ist, der ihrem Körper eine blutende Wunde zufügt.
